Deadly animals in Texas to survive….
Although there are dangerous animals in any environment all over the world, being from Texas, I know about, and have come in contact with, deadly animals in the Texas Wilderness. The diversity of Texas’ environments are from hill country forests to dry deserts, to marshlands, and even subtropical coastal environments! With this diverse landscape, also comes dangerous wild animals of every environment. By all means, if you see one of these animals on this list in the wild, don’t be ashamed to chicken out. Let’s start on the coast of Texas; Mako shark, Great white shark, bull shark, poisonous jelly fish, pufferfish, lion fish, stingray, and the Portuguese Man-of-War. In the desert? Diamondback Rattlesnake, Cottonmouth, Coral snake, Copperhead, Water Moccasin, scorpions, black widows, brown recluse, and so on. In the hill forests, black bears, cougars, bobcats, mountain lions, and insects. Texas also has some marshlands with animals to stay clear of, the snapping turtle, alligators, and reptiles such as the Cane Toad, that are poisonous when messed with. I’m just listing a hand full of creatures to be afraid of in Texas environment. Camp Safe!
